Hello from Hong Kong

It has been a dry few days for me and finding loose change. That's why I don't make it my full time job.

I am in Hong Kong for a teaching gig and took about a five mile walkabout around the Times Square area and the shopping district. Granted, I was spending a lot of time looking around (up and horizontally) but I did not find a single loose penny on the walk.

I wonder if that is a supply-side or a demand-side issue?

Introduction

This is my third(!) blog - but one that will be specialized and focused. As I walk around I tend to keep my eye on the ground and find money - pennies, nickels, dimes, sometimes bills of various denominations.

This blog will attempt to document my money finds so that over time we can figure out how much I am actually collecting. I have probably collected close to $1 over the past two months but I cannot document that.

This blog is my attempt at documentation.
